Conclusión:
Las mezclas evaluadas presentaron altos niveles de producción, con diferencias en el aporte de sus
componentes de acuerdo con el cultivar de Festuca incluido. Las mezclas produjeron significativamente más que la alfalfa
pura, y por componente la festuca INIA Aurora presentó tendencia a mayores producciones en relación con las
demás. La festuca mediterránea IGP5 con alfalfa mostró un balance más equilibrado entre sus componentes con
mayores % de leguminosa en la mezcla. |

INTRODUCTION: Palmer Amaranth (Amaranthus palmeri) is a dicot weed in the Amaranthaceae family. In Uruguay this weed first evolved resistance to Group 9 (Legacy G) herbicides in 2022 and infests Corn (maize), and Soybean. Group 9 (Legacy G) herbicides are known as Inhibition of Enolpyruvyl Shikimate Phosphate Synthase (Inhibition of EPSP synthase). Research has shown that these particular biotypes are resistant to glyphosate and they may be cross-resistant to other Group 9 (Legacy G) herbicides.
